Malayalam film actor Sidhique on Wednesday appealed to the Supreme Court challenging the Kerala High Court's decision to deny him anticipatory bail in a rape case.
As per the Supreme Court website, Sidhique has filed the appeal through his counsel, Ranjeeta Rohatgi.
The Kerala High Court had declined Sidhique's anticipatory bail plea, highlighting the seriousness of the charges against him and stating that his custodial interrogation was essential for a comprehensive investigation.
