Fact-Finding Committee Formed to Investigate IED Blast on Diplomatic Convoy in Malam Jabba
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government has formed a committee to investigate an IED blast targeting a convoy of foreign diplomats in Malam Jabba. The explosion killed one policeman and injured four others. The diplomats were unharmed and have since returned to Islamabad. A report is expected in seven days.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government on Wednesday initiated an investigation into the recent IED blast that targeted a convoy of foreign diplomats in Malam Jabba.
A two-member fact-finding committee, including Zubair Ahmed, Special Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs Department, and Muhammad Alam Shinwari, Additional IG Investigation, has been tasked with submitting a report within seven days, as directed by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
The blast resulted in the death of a policeman and injured four others, while the diplomats, representing 11 countries, were unharmed. They have since been escorted back to Islamabad under tight security.
