Vigilante Violence: Teen Brothers Paraded Naked on Theft Suspicion

In a shocking incident of vigilante violence, a 22-year-old man, Suraj Patwa, has been arrested while two others are wanted for allegedly assaulting two teenage brothers and parading them naked under suspicion of theft in Juhu.

Early Monday morning, local residents spotted the 17-year-old and 14-year-old brothers loitering in the area. Mistaking them for potential thieves, Patwa and others reportedly tied them with a chain, cut their hair, and paraded them naked while beating them. A video capturing the incident was circulated on social media.

Following the video's virality, the boys' grandmother reported the incident to Juhu police. An FIR has been filed against Patwa and his accomplices under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for assault and related offences. Patwa is currently in custody, with further investigation ongoing.
