Nepalese Woman Arrested at Mumbai Airport with Fake Passport
A 25-year-old Nepalese woman, Anita Prakash Pariyar, was intercepted at Mumbai airport while attempting to flee to Bahrain on a fake Indian passport. Upon investigation, it was confirmed she is a Nepalese national. She was arrested on charges including cheating and forgery.

A 25-year-old Nepalese woman was intercepted at Mumbai international airport while attempting to flee Bahrain using a fake Indian passport.
Identified as Anita Prakash Pariyar, she was stopped by immigration officials due to suspicion of her identity as she was boarding a flight to Bahrain on a tourist visa.
Further investigation revealed that Pariyar was carrying a fake Indian passport.
Documents found on her mobile phone, including her marriage certificate, confirmed her nationality as Nepalese.
Pariyar, who works in a hotel in Vadodara, obtained the fake passport in Ahmedabad using her Aadhaar card and PAN card. She was arrested on charges of cheating and forgery under the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita and sections of the Passport Act.
