Youth Arrested for Attempted Molestation in Southwest Delhi

A 19-year-old youth was arrested in Vasant Vihar, southwest Delhi, for allegedly attempting to molest a minor girl. The girl's family reported that the incident occurred when the girl was visiting a public toilet. She was rescued by her family, who caught the accused red-handed. The girl was medically examined and counselled as per the police.

A 19-year-old youth has been apprehended by police in Southwest Delhi's Vasant Vihar for allegedly attempting to molest a minor girl. Police reports reveal that the incident occurred on Sunday morning when the girl was en route to a public toilet near her home. The accused, identified as Harender, allegedly lured the girl to a vacant plot and attempted a sexual assault.

The victim's family intervened in time, rescuing the girl and catching the suspect in the act. The police have confirmed that a case has been registered following the family's allegations.

The minor girl has since undergone medical examination and has received counselling to address the psychological impact of the incident.
