Governor Haribhau Bagde Approves 25% Discount for Soldiers in Rajasthan Tourism Guest Houses

Governor Haribhau Bagde provided in-principle consent to offer a 25% discount on stays for serving and retired soldiers at Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation guest houses on Tuesday.
The announcement was made during the 17th meeting of the State Sainik Board, where the Governor stressed the importance of using funds set aside for Sainik welfare effectively. A proposal regarding this provision will be prepared and forwarded to the state government.
Governor Bagde also called for timely and sensitive responses to schemes and decisions affecting ex-servicemen, widows, and their dependents. He highlighted the crucial role soldiers play in national security, often under severe conditions, emphasizing the public's responsibility to be more sensitive towards them.
Soldiers Welfare Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of State Vijay Singh Chaudhary, and other key officials attended the meeting. The Governor also urged the resolution of issues faced by ex-servicemen in revenue, police, and other departments, encouraging officers to address these matters with empathy and cooperation.
