The White House is urging all Americans in Lebanon to leave the country as soon as possible while commercial flights are still operating.
'We want to make sure that there are still commercial options available for Americans to leave, and they should be leaving now while those options are available,' John Kirby, White House national security spokesman, told ABC News' 'Good Morning America.'
This advisory comes as violence continues to flare between Israel and Hezbollah along the Israel-Lebanon border, with U.S. officials maintaining constant communication with Israeli counterparts.
