22-Year-Old Charged with Murder in Singapore’s Little India
A 22-year-old Indian-origin man, Muhammad Sajid Saleem, has been charged with murdering Dhinessh Vasie during a fight in Singapore’s Little India. Five others face rioting charges. The incident, which occurred early Sunday, involved a deadly weapon and left three injured. All accused are remanded for further investigations.

A 22-year-old Indian-origin man, Muhammad Sajid Saleem, has been formally charged with the murder of compatriot Dhinessh Vasie, according to Channel News Asia. The lethal confrontation took place in Singapore's Little India precinct early Sunday morning.
Saleem, along with five others, now faces serious charges. The five, identified as Satish Jason Prabahas, Kirrthik Roshan Prem Ananth, Pradave Shashi Kumar, and two women Nur Diyana Harun Al Rasheed and Kasthuri Kallidas Marimuthu, have been charged with rioting. Dhinessh, Naviinjaay C Nathan, and K Vicknesh sustained injuries during the incident.
In court, the atmosphere turned emotional as two women wailed upon hearing the charges against Saleem. The accused have been remanded for further investigations and are scheduled to return to court next week.
