The National Commission for Women (NCW) has called on Bengaluru Police to promptly arrest the individuals involved in the horrific murder of a woman whose dismembered body was discovered inside a refrigerator at her home.

The NCW has requested a detailed police report within three days and stressed the need for a thorough and swift investigation into the case.

The 29-year-old victim was found chopped into over 50 pieces, stuffed into a refrigerator in a flat at Vyalikaval, Bengaluru, according to police reports. Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara has pledged to apprehend those responsible as soon as possible.
