A bench consisting of Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud and Justice JB Pardiwala agreed to list the case, initially scheduled for September 27, for hearing next week due to urgent reasons cited by counsel.
The Supreme Court previously expressed disturbance over findings in a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) status report on the case but withheld details to protect the ongoing investigation.
