Rajasthan Implements Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle Transferring Key IPS and IAS Officers
Rajasthan carried out a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 58 IPS and 20 IAS officers. Some officers received additional responsibilities. New postings and reassignments were made across various regions and departments, affecting key positions such as ADGs, SPs, and district collectors, in an effort to streamline administrative efficiency.

In a sweeping bureaucratic reshuffle, the Rajasthan government has transferred 58 IPS and 20 IAS officers, according to a personnel department release issued late Sunday.
Several officers were given additional responsibilities. Notably, Additional Director General (ADG) for planning, modernization, and welfare Govind Gupta will now lead the jails as Director General. Anil Paliwal, the former ADG (Railway), has been reassigned to technical services and traffic.
Among other notable changes, eight ADGs and eight inspector general rank officials were reassigned, while new superintendents of police were appointed in Alwar, Bhilwara, Jaipur Rural, and several other regions. Significant changes were also seen among IAS officers, including the reassignment of Bhawani Singh Detha to the role of principal secretary for Ayurveda and Ambrish Kumar to secretary of the medical education department.
