Delhi Police have arrested Deep Chand, 28, for allegedly absconding with a parcel valued at Rs 35,000. Chand was assigned by a mobile-based courier service to deliver the package, which he collected from a woman who lodged a complaint on September 18 after the parcel failed to reach its destination.

A senior police officer reported that the woman repeatedly tried to contact Chand through calls and texts, but received no response. This prompted the police to file an FIR and initiate an investigation.

Chand was eventually detained in the Jahangirpuri area on Saturday. The stolen items were recovered from his possession, and further investigation is ongoing.
