Karnataka Governor Demands Kempanna Commission Report
Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has requested the Kempanna Commission report pertaining to the illegal denotification of 541 acres in Arkavathi Layout. The commission, led by retired Justice H S Kempanna, submitted the report in 2017 during Siddaramaiah's first term as Chief Minister, but it has not been made public.

Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has sought the Kempanna Commission report from the state government concerning the alleged illegal denotification of 541 acres in Arkavathi Layout, Bengaluru.
Sources at Raj Bhavan revealed that the Governor has written to Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh seeking the report. 'We have yet to receive anything from the state government,' said a source.
The Kempanna Commission, under the chairmanship of retired High Court Justice H S Kempanna, was established in 2014. It was formed during Siddaramaiah's first stint as Chief Minister to investigate irregularities in land denotification by the Bangalore Development Authority, due to public complaints.
