A Ukrainian drone attack has resulted in the death of a firefighter in Russia-controlled Luhansk region in eastern Ukraine, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported on Sunday.

According to the ministry's statement on Telegram, the drone's explosives detonated while 33-year-old Vyacheslav Glazunov was battling a blaze caused by fallen drones in the Novoaidar district.

Two additional firefighters were injured in the incident, the ministry added.
