Tipra Motha chief Pradyot Debbarma has declared his party's plan to organize a rally on September 26, in response to the recent attacks on minorities in Bangladesh.
The announcement came after the youth wing YTF submitted a representation to the Assistant High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Agartala, advocating for the safety of Chittagong Hill Tracts minorities.
Debbarma highlighted that these attacks are not isolated incidents, citing previous violent episodes in Noakhali and Comilla districts, and called on the Centre to take up the issue at the United Nations.
