In a dramatic turn of events, advocates blocked the road outside the Rajasthan High Court Bench in Jaipur on Saturday evening. Their demand was clear: the immediate arrest of an individual accused of threatening a lawyer.
The protestors staged a dharna in front of the high court, ignited by what they claim was police inaction. According to a representative from the High Court Bar, a lawyer received a threatening phone call and went to register a complaint, but the police allegedly did not take the matter seriously.
Despite efforts by the police to placate the protesting lawyers, their demand for the arrest of the accused remained unwavering.
