This decision follows extensive deliberations during a four-day naval commanders' conference that concluded on Friday. In his address, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi emphasized the importance of maintaining maritime security and coastal defense through close cooperation with the Coast Guard and other maritime agencies.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh urged the naval commanders to stay prepared for any security challenges, considering the volatile global scenario.
