Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade has called for the effective implementation of both central and state government schemes to boost welfare in tribal areas, highlighting the need for holistic development. Addressing a meeting of district-level officials in Udaipur, Bagade stressed that increasing the income of the tribal community and the poor is crucial.
He underscored the importance of ensuring that every poor child gets an education. In particular, he pointed out the necessity for children from nomadic and Scheduled Castes and Tribes to enroll in schools. He directed Panchayat-level personnel to achieve 100% school enrollment among these groups.
In a statement issued by Raj Bhavan, Bagade expressed satisfaction with the region's recent good rainfall, predicting a successful crop yield. He called for the establishment of a robust government-level crop purchase system to guarantee fair prices for farmers.
