The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has announced the launch of Special Campaign 4.0, beginning October 2, aimed at cleanliness and resolving pending matters within the department.
Focusing on sustainable and environmentally friendly workplaces, the MHA will address pending references from Members of Parliament, state governments, and other agencies, as well as better manage public grievances and appeals. The initiative, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for 'Swachhata,' underscores the ministry's commitment under Union Home Minister Amit Shah's guidance.
Special Campaign 4.0 will proceed in two phases: preparation from September 15 to 30, and implementation from October 2 to 31. Monitored at the highest level, the campaign will involve the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Central Police Organisations (CPOs) working cohesively for optimal outcomes. The Ministry has already conducted 4613 'Swachhta' campaigns, freeing over 1,04,483 sq. ft. of space. An intra-Ministry portal has streamlined data collection across divisions, enhancing coordination and speed.
