Land Dispute Clash in Thane: Three Injured, Ten Arrested

Three individuals were injured when two rival groups clashed over a land dispute in Bhiwandi taluka of Maharashtra's Thane district, according to a police report on Wednesday.

The incident took place at Sontikli Naka late last night, leading to the arrest of ten people, said Inspector B N Kumbhar of Padgha police station.

'Two rival groups clashed over an old land dispute. While two persons were injured after being attacked by members of one group, another person was hurt in a firing,' Kumbhar reported.

The police detained seven individuals from one faction and three from another. Two cases of rioting, assault, and other charges were filed based on cross-complaints lodged by the involved parties, Kumbhar added.
