Authorities in Madhya Pradesh's Ratlam are probing an incident where unidentified persons allegedly waved a Palestinian flag during an Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi procession, according to an official.

The event, which took place on September 17, was brought to light following a complaint by Sanjay Patidar. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rakesh Sakha confirmed the case was registered at the Station Road police station on Tuesday.

Video evidence and CCTV footage are being used in the investigation. The case falls under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) section 197 (2). Similar incidents were reported in Mandla and Balaghat districts, leading to multiple arrests.
