Tragic Death of Dalit Man Sparks Investigation

A Dalit man, Dinesh Kumar Gautam, was found hanging in his family shop in Koirana's Katra Bazar area. His father made the discovery when Dinesh did not come out in the morning. Police are currently probing the incident, and a post-mortem has been ordered.

A Dalit man was discovered hanging inside his family's shop in Koirana area's Katra Bazar on Monday, according to local police.

Dinesh Kumar Gautam, 22, had gone to sleep in the shop. When he did not emerge the following morning, his father checked and found his body suspended from the ceiling, Additional SP Tejvir Singh reported.

The incident was communicated to the police by the victim's elder brother, Rakesh, and the body was subsequently sent for a post-mortem examination. Authorities are currently investigating the matter, Singh added.
