A Ukrainian shell struck a home in the Russian village of Bezlyudovka, resulting in the death of one woman, according to Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region. Gladkov shared the news on Telegram.
Additionally, the town of Shebekino, located several kilometers east of Bezlyudovka, was also hit by shelling. Reports indicate there were no casualties in this incident.
Belgorod has been subject to frequent shelling and drone attacks from Ukraine throughout the ongoing conflict. This comes in the wake of a cross-border attack last month that saw Ukrainian forces occupy a large portion of the neighboring Kursk region.
