Five Arrested for Stone Pelting at Vande Bharat Express in Chhattisgarh

Five individuals have been arrested for allegedly pelting stones at the Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express during a trial run in Mahasamund district, Chhattisgarh, according to officials.
The train was passing through Bagbahra railway station around 9 PM on Friday when some anti-social elements hurled stones, damaging window panes of three coaches. No injuries were reported, said Praveen Singh Dhakad, inspector of the Railway Protection Force (Mahasamund).
The apprehended men, identified as Shiv Kumar Baghel, Devendra Chandrakar, Jitu Tandi, Lekhraj Sonwani, and Arjun Yadav, have been charged under section 153 of the Railways Act. Official sources noted that Baghel's sister-in-law is a Congress corporator in Bagbahra.
