The Bengaluru police have filed a comprehensive 1691-page chargesheet against former MP Prajwal Revanna in a special court, detailing accusations of rape and sexual assault against him.
Revanna, currently under judicial custody at Parappana Agrahara Jail, is under investigation for four separate cases by a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The second case was triggered by allegations from a 44-year-old former member of the Hassan Zilla Panchayat who accused him of repeated rape.
Police reported that the SIT's exhaustive probe involved over 120 witness interrogations and multiple expert opinions. The explicit videos reportedly circulated ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, leading to JD(S) suspending Revanna from the party.
