The Supreme Court's ruling granting bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is expected to rejuvenate the Delhi government's pace, even as stringent conditions have been outlined for his release, officials informed on Friday.
AAP conveyed in a statement that Kejriwal possesses comprehensive authority to direct his ministers to ensure public welfare work proceeds seamlessly.
As the head of the council of ministers, Kejriwal is responsible for supervising governance through various departmental ministers. The chief minister, who had pledged to implement the 'Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojana' to provide a monthly honorarium of Rs 1,000 to women over 18 years, can launch this scheme ahead of the assembly elections scheduled for early next year.
