Security forces have apprehended an associate of the Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force (JKGF) in Poonch district and confiscated explosive materials from his possession, according to a police spokesperson.

The arrest was made on Thursday evening during routine checks at Potha bypass conducted by a joint team comprising police, army personnel, and the 38th battalion of the CRPF.

The arrested individual, identified as Mohammad Shabir from Daryala Nowshera, was found carrying a blue bag containing three HE-36 hand grenades and other explosive substances.
