The Dow Jones Industrial Average saw a minor dip of 0.4 points, falling to 40862.11 at the open.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 showed a slight increase of 3.3 points, or 0.06%, rising to 5557.48. The Nasdaq Composite also experienced a modest gain of 18.4 points, or 0.11%, climbing to 17413.889 at the opening bell.
