The attack occurred in the Guguldih area as Kumar led a team to investigate illegal sand mining activities. The assailants, involved in mining and local villagers, injured Kumar and three constables before additional forces were called to control the situation.
The injured officers were treated at a nearby government hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. An ongoing investigation has led to the arrest of three individuals, with a manhunt launched for remaining suspects. This incident adds to the series of violent confrontations faced by police and mining officials in Bihar.
