Haryana Polls: Massive Seizure of Cash and Illicit Liquor
Ahead of the Haryana assembly elections, the Faridabad district administration seized Rs 35 lakh in cash and 10,000 litres of illicit liquor. In a significant pre-election crackdown, the Faridabad district administration has seized Rs 35 lakh in cash and 10,000 litres of illicit liquor, an official stated on Wednesday.
Eleven bootleggers have been detained, and three vehicles have been confiscated as part of the operation.
District Collector and District Election Officer Vikram Singh Yadav reported that approximately six teams are actively engaged in curbing illegal activities ahead of the Haryana assembly elections on October 5.
