Following the DRDO's guidance, the administration has arranged for the temporary relocation of 3,100 individuals from these villages to three nearby shelters, officials confirmed. "The district administration will relocate 3,100 people from six villages within a 2.5 km radius of launch pad number 3 of the ITR, ensuring their stay in the camps," an official stated.
A joint meeting between DRDO authorities, the district administration, and the police was held to ensure a smooth evacuation process, the officer said. Over a hundred officials and 15 sections of police force will assist in the relocation. Public address systems are being used to notify villagers to relocate by 6 am tomorrow and will inform them when it's safe to return.
