The ruling Left front in Kerala has voiced its support for the state government's decision not to take immediate action against ADGP (Law and Order) M R Ajithkumar, who faces allegations from LDF MLA P V Anvar of breaching the Chief Minister's trust and neglecting responsibilities.

LDF convener T P Ramakrishnan announced that the Left front has decided a comprehensive investigation is needed to address the allegations against the ADGP. Ramakrishnan assured that strict action will be taken if the probe reveals any wrongdoing.

Anvar, a two-time MLA, has accused Ajithkumar of tapping phones and having ties to gold smuggling rackets. Meanwhile, the allegations against the CM's political secretary were not mentioned in written complaints made to the CPI(M) and the Chief Minister.
