Security has been tightened around the BJP state office following revelations in the NIA's chargesheet against four men involved in the Rameshwaram Cafe blast. The chargesheet outlines their role in a failed IED attack on the Ayodhya temple consecration ceremony.

The March 1 blast at the popular Brookfield cafe injured nine people and caused significant damage. The NIA filed the chargesheet on September 9, naming Mussavir Hussain Shazib, Abdul Matheen Ahmed Taaha, Maaz Muneer Ahmed, and Muzammil Shareef as accused.

According to the NIA, two key suspects, Taaha and Shazib, were ISIS radicals who used illegally obtained Indian documents and cryptocurrencies to fund their activities. The police have enhanced security at the BJP office, with increased personnel and surveillance measures, including metal detectors and CCTV coverage.
