Madhya Pradesh Appoints New Chief Information Commissioner
The Madhya Pradesh government has appointed Vijay Yadav as the state's new Chief Information Commissioner. In addition, three other information commissioners have been appointed: Umashankar Pachouri, Vandana Gandhi, and Omkar Nath. The appointments were decided in a committee meeting led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

The Madhya Pradesh government has officially appointed Vijay Yadav, former special inspector general of police, as the new Chief Information Commissioner for the state.
In addition to Yadav, three other individuals have been named as information commissioners: educationist Umashankar Pachouri, social worker Vandana Gandhi, and retired judge Omkar Nath.
The selection was finalized during a meeting of the committee headed by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and attended by Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Umang Singhar and Public Health Engineering Minister Sampatiya Uikey.
