In a significant gathering, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) hosted a meeting for retired judges to deliberate on pressing issues such as disputes over temples in Varanasi and Mathura, the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, and religious conversions.
The event, held on Monday, saw the participation of at least 30 retired Supreme Court and high court judges, as well as Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal. 'Today, I participated in the Judge's Meet program organized by the legal cell of Vishva Hindu Parishad and had a detailed discussion on the topics related to judicial reforms for the creation of a developed India,' Meghwal shared on X, accompanied by pictures of the event.
Sources revealed that during the internal meeting, VHP's legal cell focused on a broad array of issues, including cow slaughter and religious conflict. The presence of VHP President Alok Kumar and other eminent intellectuals underscored the significance of the topics discussed.
