An FIR has been filed against a Wing Commander following accusations of rape by a woman flying officer, stationed with him at the Srinagar Air Force Station, officials reported on Tuesday.
The complaint led to the FIR being registered under 'relevant sections of the law' by the Budgam police station in central Kashmir on Saturday, according to a senior police officer.
The Indian Air Force confirmed its awareness of the case and stated its cooperation with local authorities. 'We are fully cooperating with the Budgam police on this matter,' affirmed a senior IAF official.
