On September 9, 2024, a virtual meeting took place between Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) Shri V. Srinivas and Prof. Louis Fransceschi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Secretariat. The meeting also included Mr. Dunstan Maina, Public Administration Advisor at the Commonwealth Secretariat, along with Addl. Secretary Sh. Puneet Yadav, Joint Secretary Ms. Jaya Dubey, and other senior officials from DARPG.

The discussion focused on follow-up actions related to the Outcome Statement from the Commonwealth Secretaries of Public Services/Secretaries to Cabinet meeting held in April 2024. Key areas of collaboration identified for further cooperation include:

Partnership with the Commonwealth Hub for the Business of Government

Indian involvement in the Smart Working Group and the Commonwealth AI Consortium

These initiatives aim to strengthen international cooperation and enhance governance practices.
