Autorickshaw Driver Arrested for Molesting Student in Kalyan

An autorickshaw driver named Gopal Mudaliyar was arrested in Kalyan, Thane district, for allegedly molesting a student. The student noticed inappropriate behavior while returning home and jumped out of the vehicle in fear. Following a complaint by the student's mother, Mudaliyar was arrested under multiple charges.

In a disturbing incident, an autorickshaw driver in Kalyan, Thane district, has been arrested for allegedly molesting a student, according to police sources.

The student was on her way home in the autorickshaw when she noticed the driver's inappropriate behavior and asked him to stop. When he refused, she was forced to jump out of the moving vehicle in fear.

The driver, identified as Gopal Mudaliyar, followed and abused her. A case was registered following a complaint by the student's mother, leading to Mudaliyar's arrest under charges from the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
