In a shocking incident in Punjab's Jalandhar district, an 18-year-old woman named Lakshmi was dragged for approximately 200 metres by three motorcycle-borne snatchers as she resisted their attempt to steal her mobile phone. The incident took place on Friday in the Green Model Town area.

According to the police, Lakshmi was near her residence when three unidentified men on a motorcycle tried to snatch her phone. When she resisted, they dragged her behind their vehicle for about 150 to 200 metres before making off with the phone.

The harrowing scene was captured on a CCTV camera installed in the vicinity. A case has been registered, and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects.
