The Stray Animals Control Bill, 2024 by Dhaurahra MP Anand Bhadauria, is one of 83 private member's bills slated for discussion in Parliament's upcoming winter session.
The bill details provisions for controlling stray cattle issues and compensating for damages, including Rs 10 lakh to next of kin if a person is killed by a stray animal, and government assistance for field fencing.
