Assistant Forest Conservator Dilip Kumar Maratha was caught on video threatening and using abusive language against a person who had lodged a complaint against him through the chief minister's helpline. The incident went viral, prompting swift action from authorities.
Maratha has been suspended with immediate effect and reassigned to the forest department headquarters in Bhopal during the suspension period, according to an official press release issued on Saturday.
