Odisha Police Busts Notorious Bike-Lifting Gang in Kendrapara
A special squad from Kendrapara district police in Odisha has dismantled a bike-lifting gang, arresting six members. They seized nine stolen motorbikes from a garage in Talchua village. The gang is believed to be involved in multiple thefts, with ongoing efforts to capture the remaining members and recover more stolen bikes.

A special squad from the Kendrapara district police in Odisha successfully dismantled a notorious gang of bike-lifters, arresting six of its members on Friday, according to an official statement.
The breakthrough came after a formal complaint of bike theft was logged in Kendrapara town. Law enforcement recovered nine stolen motorcycles from a motor garage in the seaside Talchua village, disclosed Debashis Dhal, the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Kendrapara.
"Search efforts are ongoing to nab the remaining gang members. We are optimistic about recovering additional stolen bikes," affirmed Dhal. Over the past six to eight months, 50 complaints have been recorded in various police stations across the district, with the gang suspected to be linked to most cases.
