In a heated claim on Thursday, CPI (ML) Liberation MP Sudama Prasad alleged being mistreated by security personnel during Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's visit to Arrah, his Lok Sabha constituency.
Prasad, who defeated BJP heavyweight R K Singh, called the treatment 'an insult to 5.30 lakh voters,' emphasizing it reflects poorly on how common citizens are handled.
Nitish Kumar was in Arrah to unveil projects worth Rs 100 crore and inspect an under-construction medical college. Despite Prasad's invitation, he said security didn't let him present a bouquet to the CM. Opposition leaders, including Tejashwi Yadav, condemned the incident, citing bureaucratic disregard for elected officials.
