In a significant development, former IAS probationer Puja Khedkar has agreed to undergo a medical examination at AIIMS. This comes after the Delhi Police alleged that one of her disability certificates may be 'forged' and 'fabricated'.

Khedkar is accused of cheating and misusing Other Backward Classes (OBC) and disability quota benefits. She made this submission to the Delhi High Court while seeking anticipatory bail in the criminal case filed against her.

Justice Subramonium Prasad has listed the matter for further hearing on September 26, while Khedkar's interim protection from arrest will continue until then. The Delhi Police argue that her custody is essential for unearthing a 'deep-rooted conspiracy'.
