Optimum Invest Assists in Investigation of Former Central Bank Governor

Optimum Invest announced on Wednesday its cooperation with Lebanese judicial authorities in the investigation of former central bank governor Riad Salameh.

The investment firm, which specializes in income brokerage services, emphasized that all its transactions with the Lebanese central bank were fully compliant with the law.

According to two judicial sources reported by Reuters on Tuesday, Salameh has been charged with financial crimes, allegedly amassing over $110 million through dealings involving Optimum Invest.
