Mumbai Police on Wednesday arrested four men linked to the brutal murder of Javed Kallan Choudhary, aged 40, at the Wadala Truck Terminus area, officials revealed.

Choudhary was reportedly attacked by a mob of 15 over an issue related to an unauthorized structure within a society on Tuesday afternoon. The victim succumbed to severe injuries at the civic-run Sion hospital. Authorities confirmed the mob used bats, stumps, and cable wires, alongside kicks and punches, to execute the attack.

Among the apprehended suspects are Vilas Shelar and Ajit Singh, who have been remanded in police custody until September 9. The law enforcement officials continue their search for the remaining assailants.
