Notorious Offender Arrested: Mohammad Sabir's Crime Spree Ends

Delhi Police announced on Wednesday the arrest of Mohammad Sabir, a notorious proclaimed offender involved in over 35 criminal cases, from Hathin, Haryana.
Authorities identified Sabir, 37, as a native of Haryana's Palwal district and a member of a gang responsible for crimes including murder, kidnapping, extortion, and assault on public servants. Declared a proclaimed offender under the Arms Act in Delhi in November 2015, Sabir had been elusive since 2018, posing as a vegetable vendor after being granted bail.
The Operation was successful due to a tip received by the Special Cell, which coordinated Sabir's capture during a raid in Hathin. On August 29, Sabir appeared before a local court, bringing an end to his years on the run.
