West Bengal Minister Faces ED Interrogation Over School Recruitment Scam
West Bengal Minister Chandranath Sinha was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate regarding an alleged school recruitment scam. Sinha, the Minister for Correctional Administration, attended the interrogation at the CGO Complex. In March, the ED had raided his residence, recovering a mobile phone and cash worth approximately Rs 40 lakh.

West Bengal Minister Chandranath Sinha appeared on Wednesday before officers of the Enforcement Directorate for questioning related to an alleged school recruitment scam.
The Minister for Correctional Administration was summoned by the central probe agency a few days ago and arrived at the CGO Complex office in the morning, an official revealed.
In March, the ED had conducted a search operation at Sinha's residence in Bolpur, Birbhum district, uncovering a mobile phone and cash amounting to around Rs 40 lakh amid alleged irregularities in school appointments.
