China, Tanzania, and Zambia have signed a preliminary agreement for a railway project, as reported by Chinese state media on Wednesday.
The memorandum of understanding on the Tanzania-Zambia railway activation project was signed in the presence of President Xi Jinping and the Tanzanian and Zambian presidents. The signing ceremony took place during the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, according to state broadcaster CCTV news.
This agreement marks a significant step towards enhancing infrastructure and connectivity between Tanzania and Zambia.
