Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan has called for a comprehensive report from the home secretary concerning corrupt officials, referred to as 'black sheep,' within various government departments.

The announcement came after Sandhwan had previously sought a report from the director general of police regarding a specific case involving an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) accused of taking money from a gangster.

According to Sandhwan, the home secretary is expected to outline the actions taken against those involved in corrupt practices within sectors like police, mining, drug trafficking, and liquor smuggling within the next two to three days.
